This documents the arrival of the first major civilization in the Malaysian Peninsular. Artifacts date from as early as 6AD. Golfing enthusiast can choose from 4 major golf courses, chief of which is the Cinta Sayang Gold Resort which is only 15km away. For the more adventurous fishing expeditions can also be arranged departing from Tanjung Dawai which is also 15km away. You also have an amazing choice of food and beverage. You can choose to purchase fresh fish from the fishing village and try your hand at cooking in the outdoor kitchen or choose from the large variety of food from local caterer. You can dine under the stars with camp tables and benches to truly enjoy the back to nature experience.

How to get there: - Merbok is located in Kedah State (West Malaysia). The nearest big town is Sungei Petani (about 15 km away). The nearest International Airport is Penang Airport which is about 1 hour away by car. The best time to visit is from June to December when the weather is just perfect!!!
